10/20/2008 - iClicker Workshop sponsored by ITD and TLA DePaul’s Instructional Technology Development (ITD) and Teaching, Learning and Assessment (TLA) offices are delighted to join the iClicker company in sponsoring an extended workshop focused on best practices in teaching with clickers. We welcome faculty at all levels of experience with iClickers -- from the merely curious to the expert user.
Faculty at DePaul and elsewhere are using clickers (also known as classroom response systems) to engage students in the classroom. Among other benefits, clickers can provide instant feedback to faculty and students alike, allowing instructors to adjust instruction "on the fly" and encouraging students to ask questions and clarify their understanding of a concept.
Lunch will be provided by the iClicker company for registered participants
