BB3: Using Electronic Assignments

This course shows you how the Electronic Assignment feature replaces the DropBox as a means of receiving student written work electronically, and the many advantages of this new process. Participants learn how to create and post an Assignment, how students receive Assignments, and how students submit their work in response to it. The course then shows you how an instructor receives student-submitted work, grades it, provides a grade and optional feedback, and how to “clear” an assignment submitted erroneously by a student. Bring a written assignment document on a flash drive and we will help you post your first Electronic Assignment. In preparation for this training, you should have taken BB1: Blackboard Basics and BB2: Grade Center Part 1 or you need equivalent experience.

Technology workshops are designed primarily for faculty. Staff are welcome to register if they have teaching assignments or if they are directly involved in assisting faculty in teaching and research. However priority is given to faculty if registration exceeds the cap. If registration is full, please sign up for the wait list for current or future sessions.
