Group Classes and Department-Specific Workshops

ITD Group Classes provide faculty with training and hands-on time for specific applications and learning strategies. These programs include beginner to advanced Blackboard training, crash courses on MS applications, Web course development seminars, and graphic design and multimedia development workshops.

ITD also works collaboratively with academic departments to design faculty training experiences specific to their unique needs. For example: a Blackboard training for new or adjunct faculty that targets linking to library databases for your field; an Online Teaching Institute experience for faculty members scheduled to teach online or hybrid classes; or to include a brief presentation on an ITD-supported tool such as Quickdata at a departmental meeting. Contact ITD for more information.

Online Training

ITD has created several Online Training tutorials on using Blackboard at DePaul. This page also contains information about recommended online training on a wide variety of topics.

One-on-One, Departmental Consultations

ITD provides One-on-One Consultations and direct assistance to individual faculty members. In addition we are available to consult with academic programs, departments and colleges to identify and assess instructional technology needs and to design and implement appropriate solutions. Contact ITD to discuss your idea or need.
