BlackboardBlackboard is one of a growing number of electronic course management systems that encourage interaction between students and faculty; students and students. Blackboard incorporates web pages, email, discussion boards, chat rooms, small group areas, online quizzes, an online grade book, document sharing, and more to create an online learning environment.
Instructors, please remember to activate your course!
Blackboard courses will not be visible to the students until they are made available by the instructor. To make a course available to your students, go to the control panel, click on "Course settings" and then "Course availability", select yes and click on submit. Course Design Tips The Course Design Tips link practical teaching suggestions to resources and reusable items for teaching with Blackboard. Assessment This section discusses how to use quizzes and surveys in Blackboard. Grading This section discusses how to manage grades and provide feedback using Blackboard's gradebook. Resources Documentation This is a comprehensive list of manuals and guides associated with Blackboard. Blackboard Request Forms Use these form to make adjustments to your Blackboard site, such as copy materials from a previous course or add a TA to the course.
