Create a web site that highlights your interests and activities with links to your research materials, Curriculum Vitae, professional organizations, and individual course web sites (including Blackboard sites).Your Condor AccountTo create a professional web page that people around the world can view, you first need to request and set up an account on a web server:1. Request an account on the DePaul faculty web server - condor.depaul.edu. 2. Set up your condor account. Create a public_html directory, set the proper 'permissions' for your directory, change your password. Once the account is set up, you can begin building your web site, starting with an index.html page. To request a web site for your department or program, use the request form at: http://is.depaul.edu/resources/forms/departmental_website.asp. You might also consider using the services of University Publications to help create your departmental web site. Creating a New PageThe process to create a new web page is the same as for updating an existing page:
Your DePaul web site will have a URL address similar to this one: http://condor.depaul.edu/~username
